Join us for a casual afternoon of 2SLGBTQ+ pride-themed crafts and community-building!

We will have supplies and seasonal craft ideas prepared that you can drop in and create, or bring your own project to work on in queer company. This is a drop-in event, come and stay as long as you’d like.

Good news! Our knitting machine is up and running and Sally is ready to show us how it works!

If you’ve been curious about using the knitting machine now is your chance to come ask questions and watch it in action!

Jan.4 12:30-4:00PM

In this class, you’ll begin with two simple kitchen tools—a cake tester and a pot scrubber—to get familiar with broomcraft techniques. Then you’ll make both a turkey wing and a hawk’s tail hand broom, learning about their history, materials, and uses. Most participants finish at least four brooms to take home.

The class is for adults, limited to 10 people, and costs $100 with all materials included. Please wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes (or be prepared to work barefoot), and feel free to bring small decorative items to add to your brooms.
