Monthly Talks
During the second Tuesday Open Night of a month, we hold a talk (or talks or a demo or whatever).
Talks can be anything from 5 minutes to an hour. You can do a formal presentation with slides and stuff, or gather everyone around a bench and show people how to do something.
There aren't really any rules. The audience is makers (ie., us) and the talk should ideally be something that appeals to makers.
Every month we'll recruit a Kwartzlab member to find someone to give a talk. They can give the talk themselves, or find some other awesome maker to do it.
If it's your month, please post a message on the "discuss" mailing list describing and promoting the talk, ideally about a week in advance. That'll help us further spread the word via social media and the like. If you're lining up an especially awesome talk, give us lots of notice so we can target non-social media and others.
