As it stood it implied that you just set the temperature in the Console Extruder 0 tab which is not correct (all this does is change the warm-up temperature–the extrusion temperature is on the M109/M104 command in the GCode).

As such I’m not sure Don’s extrusion temperature experiments are valid, if all he did was change the value in the console window.
