Stitch’n'Bitch

Lots of fun as always – we gathered at 1 pm; Steph, Dave, Caelyn and I (and Gus for a while!) sat around chatting and watching old movies (They Live, Alien Nation, Dark City) and some TV on DVD (The Outer Limits)), while we worked (though Gus didn’t stitch).

Dave worked on a knitted black-and-white striped blanket; Caelyn on a beautiful dark blue knitted sweater; Steph on her delicate tatting in a couple of colours; and me, on a crochet cotton “spa” set (face scrubber, soap bag, bath pouf and hand towel).

Unfortunately we were quite engrossed in our work and ended up not taking photos while we were there. So Steph has kindly sent a picture of one of her tatted pieces:

And I took a picture of just the soap bag for detail on the crochet and on the cotton yarn itself.

Good time had by all, despite the last-minute schedule change from Saturday to Sunday. ^_^
