Great turnout for TON tonight. There’s Alex, Ed, and James facing and Karl, Alex, Rob in the foreground.
More after the break…
Ed brought in his cool Bulbdial Clock that he built from the kit over the holidays. This picture doesn’t do it justice. The colour mixing makes me think of stained glass. Ed said it was an easy 3-hour build.
Here’s Eric, Karl, and Rob chatting.
Eric kindly donated this scope to kwartzlab and has offered to help us do a little vacuum forming in his shop in March. He also has volunteered to do a KTV talk on pneumatics (he’s a prop-maker from Stratford). Thanks Eric!
Our greeters: James, Ed, Bevan, and Matt.
Ed is smiling. Really, he is. And running the door tonight. And he’s reworking some code for the rig he built to help us track temperature in the lab. Check the lab temp now. Nice work, Ed.
The G-men. PG is fabbing up a Warhammer set out of MDF and foamcore. Sweet.
From right to left: Big John and friend.
Darcy! says enough with the pictures already White!
Mr. Mackie in the house. Workin on his Arduino-Synth.
“I’m gonna rule this place one day” –Alex Williams
And there’s Karl talking to Sam Wiebe who just happens to be our just-steps-way neighbour on Breithaupt St.
Mr. Aaron Wiebe will be recognized for Best-Dressed-Guest this evening.
Alex, from Site 3 out of T.O., stopped by to chat and marvel at Gus’ taxidermy skills…
prompting a photo shoot from our good friend, Seth Hardy, also of Site 3. Site 3 is a new shared working space in T.O. just getting off the ground, so check ‘em out. First meeting Jan 17, 4pm, The Green Room, Brunswick Ave.
Then it got really wierd. Thanks Gus.
Hey hey hey! Kyle Spaans, one of our founding members, makes his triumphant return from Ottawa co-oping.
Lots of great connections and conversation tonight.
If you missed tonight, come check us out next Tuesday for a TON of fun.
