DIY Biology and Gene Sequencing

So when you own a spectrophotometer it opens a whole area of interest and possible hobbies. This video from The Economist magazine is fascinating because it talks about the sort of stuff that we are doing in electronics and hacking but from a biological context.

Is there possibly a possible bio-hacker division in Kwartzlab’s future…who can say, but to quote Lord John Whorfin about the prospects of one, “It makes the Ganglia twitch!”
