A great crowd came out on Monday night to pay their first dues, for September, and get their keys.
If you have paid your $100 initial fee and still want to be a member, you must:
- pay your $52.50 for September (rent is due, guys!)
- fill out the revised membership form
- fill out the financial audit waiver (if we all agree we don’t need a formal audit, we will save $1500 – almost 2 months rent!)
- get voted into the corporation by the board
- pick up your keys
Join us at the board meeting, Friday Sep 4 at 7:30pm to get ‘er done.

Matt was not distracted from his drywall mudding by all the hubbub.
Mark was keeping a close eye on…
this character. Hello Gus.
Jeff and Joanna stopped by with the kids to say hello.
Cedric may hurt me if I continue photographing him.
Then more makers came. Chris came over from St. Mary’s and, hey, isn’t that Rob Magon? You bet it is.
When Ben speaks, makers listen. Ben’s our treasurer and one of the hardest working members in the space. He’s the one with the black ThinkPad.
Some of that great shelving retrieved from Navidis. Hopefully Ed and Ben were able to recover the other set of shelves too.
Lots of work still to do, and only 16 days to buildout-complete.
More mudding to do, more sanding, need some corner molding installed. Hoping to start painting this weekend. Did I mention there are only 16 days left for buildout? Sept 17 is the target. That’s only two weekends. Say it with me people: floors, walls, windows.
After that we get busy prepping projects for display on Oct 1, the grand opening.
Great work and effort so far, makers. You are making a great space.
