kwartzlab buildout video update

Bit of a video update on the build out of that favorite hacker space we call kwartzlab.

Two reminders for you:

• Join us at our grand opening on Thu Oct 1, 2009 from 7:30pm to 11pm. Members, please get your projects together for demo and list them on the forum
• Register for miniSoOnCon where the 4 south western Ontario hacker spaces are getting together. You can register through the website or you can pay me or Natalie $25 cash.

  I love these windows. Doubly so now that the hardwood sills are in. Nice job on the install, guys, and thanks Andrew for the materials.

Gus is shooting the tile lines.

We’re overshooting our delivery date by a few days. We really could use a few more hands in the space this weekend.

Bevan is a sanding machine! Smoothing the lounge walls that were last mudded.

Michael is not working in a snowstorm, just a haze of dust. This will be ready for paint soon.

Then we can get all this stuff in the lounge squared away.

And my installation piece “EyeCon” watches over the kwartzlabbers.
