The vinyl floor is no more… I went in late tonight and tore it out.
The wood underneath is simple ‘chip board’ plywood.
It didn’t come out cleanly, there’s quite a bit of paper backing still on the floor. We may need to rent a floor sander to get everything out.
By the way, this wall in the lounge screams for a projector and popcorn!
The paint work and start of new sills look fantastic.

I delivered the first half of the tiles on Sunday, and the rest are coming today. If tiles are going down, I guess there’s some sort of waterproof underlayment that goes down first? Would it be necessary to sand the floor if that’s just going over top?
